It is funny how during every major holiday the state police are out all over the place "enforcing" speed limits but during Thanksgiving they are nowhere to be found. I traveled close to 200 miles today over three major highways and I did not see a single cop. I guess they all must be in a turkey induced coma. I just hope that all the bad guys are also sleeping off their turkey dinners.You know the saying "When seconds count, police are only minutes away"? I have a feeling that tonight would have been a good example of that.
