I do not agree with the company's stance on gays but it is their First Amendment right to do so. If someone doesn't like it they don't have to eat there.
Chick-Fil-A has never denied anyone service based on their sexual orientation so I really do not understand what the big deal is.
Mayor Menino's personal agenda is once again getting in the way of new money coming in to Boston in the form of business taxes. It also prevents new jobs from being created. From the economic view point what Mayor Mumbles is doing makes a lot of sense. Right.
Mayor is a hypocrite and he has shown this time and time again, although now this is more evident than ever. He is Catholic and presumably he attends church every so often. Presumably he also donates money every time he is there. He surely must know how the Catholic Church feels about gays.
So Mr. Mumbles, how are your donations to the Catholic Church, an anti-gay religious organization, any different from Chick-Fil-A?
