This past Friday held a news conference in response to the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary as well as the ever increasing call for more gun control by the left wing media and liberals all over the country. During the conference NRA president Wayle LaPierre layout a plan to help minimize future school shootings. One of the main point in his plan is to put armed police officers in every school. I think this is a brilliant idea. Naturally, the anti-gun movement called his plan insane and accused him of pushing for more guns in schools.
What is interesting is that in 2000 Bill
Clinton called for the same thing after the 1999
Columbine school shooting. Funny how the gun grabbers didn't seem to have a problem with that. What is also interesting is that the Clumbine shooting happened during the Assault Weapon Ban. So much for gun laws stopping someone from shooting up a bunch in innocent kids. Ha?
Way to go NRA. I may not have agreed with your lackluster performance in the past but if you stick to this proposal and fight for my 2A rights, I will renew my membership.
