Never, EVER talk to a cop
Read the above, memorize it and take it to heart. Next time you are pulled over by a cop do not say anything and do not admit to anything because ever the most innocent thing you say may and most likely be used against you. Case in point:
A guy is coming home after a long day's work. He is tired and doesn't notice a car parked on a freeway on-ramp. Yes, I know it's a shitty place to leave a car but it is what it is. The cops shows up and seemingly nothing bad is going to happen. It was an accident and nothing more. The cop makes a comment to the driver "man am I tired", to which the driver responds "tell me about it. I can't wait to go home so I can jump in bed". Next, the cop writes out a citation. For what you ask? For driving a vehicle while tired. In a certain communist state (Fuck-a-chusett-stan) that's a penalty that carries up to 2.5 years in jail. Yup, you can go to jail if you cause an accident while driving tired. Since the sentence is over 2 years, it also means that the person is now permanently disqualified as far as gun permits go.
So the moral to this story is NEVER, EVER talk to the cop even if he seems like he is your best friend.
