Helping hand

I stronlgly believe that "If you are good at something, never do it for free".  However, I tend to provide a lot of free computer services to family and friends.  Unless compensation is discussed up front I really do not expect a payment of any kind.  Still, it is nice when the other person shows his/her appreciation for the time and effort I put into my work outside of work.
