Why do school buses make stops every 50 yards? Since when have they become door-to-door limousines for the kids? Are we really this lazy? What exactly are we teaching our kids?
I missed my commuter train this morning because of a school bus which stopped on RT 122 and waited 3+ minutes for some fat kid to waddle out of his house. The kid, still chewing a piece of bacon, apparently didn't give a rat's a$$ about anybody but himself because his movements were slower than molasses. It was like watching a dung beetle stuck in a drop of fresh paint.
Kid, here is my friendly advice...Get up five minutes earlier, put on a clean shirt (yeah, I saw the stains), eat your breakfast and get the F*CK out of the house in time for the bus. That’s all you have to do in the morning so how difficult is that?
Still, some (if not most) of the blame should probably be directed at the parents. They too probably do not give a damn about the rest of the world.
