Working in a tall office building I am forced to take the elevator up and down every day. While going down isn't a problem because the elevator is usually empty, going up is a completely different story. For whatever reason just about every person who gets into the elevator walks up to the button panel, presses their floor number and just stands there blocking anyone else from being able to press the button. What is that all about? Is it that most people are brain dead at 8:30 in the morning or is it the fact that most are self absorbed and self centered egomaniacs and for them the thought of moving to the back of the elevator is nonexistent? Please get a clue people. Press the button and move away. Just because you are standing in the back of the elevator doesn’t make you any less of a person than the guy in front of you.
